Security Guards

Security Guards protect industrial or commercial property against fire, theft, vandalism and illegal entry. They protect and control entry to industrial, commercial and sometimes, residential property. The duties depend on our customers needs. Duties may include operating and monitoring alarm and closed-circuit television systems, receiving visitors and giving information. They may also take action in emergency situations such as illness, safety hazards, or other unusual situations.

The main responsibilities of the Security Guard are to observe and report. These duties may involve observing from a distance while on a walking patrol, while driving a patrol car, or by closed-circuit television. When they make their rounds, Guards may check windows, doors, and keep aware of unauthorized individuals in an area. Other tasks may include making sure that electrical and plumbing systems, alarms, and sprinkler systems are on or working properly. Guards may have to search the area thoroughly when anything unusual is noticed. A patrol area could be a large manufacturing facility or a small office building lobby. Anything unusual or any potential problem is noted and reported to the proper authority: police, fire department, building owner, etc. Written reports are filed after action has been taken to correct the situation. Regular reports are made of routine activities, including a written summary at the end of each shift.

    Patrol Inspections

Patrol Inspections serve a limited, but useful purpose. By definition, the drive-through patrol service does not remain on-site and we use a highly visible vehicle to make the rounds. This type of patrol is less expensive then a dedicated on-site security guard because of the limited time spent on the property.

Highly visible, Patrol Inspections are ideal for the patrol of commercial properties after business hours or on private property not open to the public.

One purpose of this type of patrol is to observe (or test) all accessible gates, doors, and windows and make sure they are secured, and to report the conditions found on the property to the business owner or the police. Another purpose is to make sure no unauthorized persons are trespassing on private property.

The primary goal of our service is to deter property loss and discover vandalism after business hours.

All our vehicles are GPS equipped to maintain the integrity of our service. All customers will receive a detailed report of each site visit.

    Private Investigators

Investigations depend on the needs of our clients. In cases for employers that involve fraudulent workers' compensation claims, for example, investigators may carry out long-term covert observation of subjects. If an investigator observes a subject performing an activity that contradicts injuries stated in a worker's compensation claim, the investigator would take video or still photographs to document the activity and report it to the client.

    Technical Surveillance Countermeasures (TSCM)

In our technically advanced society anyone can easily become the target of covert electronic surveillance or an intelligence gathering operation. Bugging has become an extremely easy and popular method of gathering sensitive, confidential, and personal information on many fronts. Some individuals and businesses are at considerably greater risk than others due to a wide variety of reasons and circumstances, including a person's profession, financial status, or involvement in domestic related situations, and wide spread Labour unrest. Our Technical Security Branch can provide professional TSCM services at all threat levels and many different situations.

When inquiring about our Technical Surveillance Countermeasures (TSCM) and Counter Intelligence Services, be sure to use a pay telephone or other secure communication method to prevent tipping off a potential eavesdropper. Avoid discussing your plans to contract our services with others whenever possible - Often times the eavesdropper is someone on the inside, or may have access to sensitive internal company information.
